“The Voice” Season 1 Finalist Beverly McClellan Dies at Age 49 of Cancer

If you’ve been watching “The Voice” since its early days, you likely remember one of the finalists, Beverly McClellan. She auditioned back in 2011 with “Piece of My Heart” and ended up in the finale, coming in fourth place.

Sadly, McClellan passed away on Thursday, October 25 after being diagnosed with endometrial cancer in March, which spread to her colon, bladder and intestines.

The news of her passing was announced on herĀ Go Fund Me page run by her family, saying, “Thank you, everyone, for the support for Beverly Medical Care and for all of the hope you all shared with us! Our journey to get Beverly better has come to an end. Please do not donate to this cause anymore.”

Beverly was part of Christina Aguilera’s team on “The Voice,” coming in fourth place next to Vicci Martinez (third place), Dia Frampton (runner up), and Javier Colon (winner).
