“The Voice” Season 16 With New Coach John Legend Gets Premiere Date

Mark your calendars, “Voice” fans! After a wild season 15 where Kelly Clarkson took home the win with her country sensation, Chevel Shepherd, the hit NBC show is headed back to TV screens in February— and it’s bringing an all-new coach along with it.

Coaches Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine will all be returning on Monday, February 25 as the blind auditions air— and, instead of coach Jennifer Hudson, EGOT recording artist John Legend will be joining the mix.

“I’m thrilled to join the coaches of ‘The Voice,’” John Legend said in a press release.

“I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.”

Tune in to NBC on February 25 to see John Legend take his seat on the big red chair!
