In her debut season as a coach on “The Voice,” Kelly Clarkson has officially taken home the season 14 win with one of my personal favorites— young, sweet Brynn Cartelli!

Spensha Baker, one of my other long-standing favorites, came in fourth place followed by powerhouse vocalist Kyla Jade. It was then down to #TeamKelly’s Brynn and #TeamAlicia’s Britton Buchanan.

You might recall near the start of the season when Kelly Clarkson said in an interview, “We’ve made a bet, we’ve shook hands… when I win he has to call me Queen Kelly Clarkson– yes queen, no queen. And if I lose, I have to shut up for 5 minutes,” Kelly said.

I mean, a bet’s a bet!

The finale episode was filled with incredible performances from Jason Aldean, Julia Michaels, Jennifer Hudson, Kane Brown and more— but of course, it’s hard to focus on the performances while you’re anticipating the winner being announced in the final two minutes.

Brynn’s reaction to the win was precious (of course) and I am thrilled to see what she does next. Regardless, she now holds the title of the youngest “Voice” finalist— and now winner— in the show’s history!
