Caramel Apple Cheese Ball Recipe is Officially the Perfect Snack


I’m always on the hunt for new tasty appetizers and finger foods because as much as I love chips and salsa, it can get old after a while. This caramel apple cheese ball is easy to make and is perfect for a pre-dinner appetizer or just a mid-day snack. Whip it up for your family or friends and enjoy!

Caramel Apple Cheese Ball Recipe:


  • 2 8-oz. blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cups caramel, plus more for topping
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • Salt
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar
  • 1 cup Granny Smith apple, finely chopped
  • 2 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
  • Crackers for serving
Combine cream cheese, caramel, lemon juice, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl and beat with a hand mixer until combined. Fold in the cheddar and the green apples, then transfer the mixture to saran wrap and form it into a ball. Place the ball in the freezer for about 30 minutes or until it becomes firm. Add pecans to a plate and roll the cheese ball in the pecans until covered. Drizzle the top of the cheese ball with more caramel and sprinkle with a little salt. Serve cold with crackers and enjoy!
