I’ve had dogs my entire life. Growing up in the woods, my family often had several dogs living in our yard that weren’t technically our dogs. I named them all. Like Blake Shelton, I love naming animals. Recently, I came across a dog groomer’s Facebook page that featured the holiday portrait sittings of some of their cutest clients. And maybe, I came across the page because my dog’s photo was in the bunch.

10 Holiday Dog Portraits That Will Remind You of Your Family This Holiday Season:

Willie

Willie looks like my dad in every single photo I’ve ever taken of him. Even the ones where I yell, “please just try to smile!” Such a stoic pup.

10/10 would invite to Christmas dinner.

Claudette

Claudette reminds me of a math teacher who’s super festive.

10/10 would ask for help with doubling the Christmas cookie recipe from her.

Maxx

Maxx is so happy he needs to Xs in his name.

10/10 would rock around the Christmas tree with Maxx.

Penny

Penny is a bad B who wraps the prettiest presents on the block.

10/10 would take decorating tips from her.

McClintock

McClintock is literally wearing a turtleneck because he’s sophisticated.

10/10 would take all directions from him on having a classy Christmas soiree.

Little Britches

Little Britches seems like a fun grandmother who insists that her grandchildren never call her “grandma.” Also seems like the type to wear very large, dangly Christmas ornaments as earrings.

10/10 would call her Little Britches until she’s 102-years-old.

Quigley

Quigley is the type of guy that’s just happy to be with his friends and family.

10/10 would hang with Quigley and his friends and family.

Missy

Missy is definitely in charge of the naughty/nice list.

10/10 would buy Missy a gift no matter the list she’s on.

Nancy

Nancy looks like a kid who still gets up at 3 am to see if Santa came, but then spends all day playing with the box.

10/10 would buy her a box.

Marge

Marge reminds me an aunt who takes a million candid photos and uploads them to Facebook immediately. And always tags you no matter what you’re doing.

10/10 would pose for Marge’s Facebook photos.
