There is no better time to video someone than right after they leave the dentist. Some people get silly, others get serious, and some start spilling secrets like toddler spill cups of milk. Jennifer Garner recently got the good stuff: novocaine, aka, laughing gas, aka happy smells, aka haha air, aka chuckle dust. “Throwback Thursday,” she wrote in the caption. “That time I had dental anesthesia…laughing gas + novocaine + Hamilton = you’re welcome.”

You’re welcome indeed.

Garner heard one of the sad song in Hamilton and had to call a friend to talk about how beautiful it was. Through tears, she told her friend about how she once recommended Hamilton to someone else.

“They did the sad part of Hamilton and I started crying and couldn’t stop…They said, ‘Are you ok?’ I said, ‘It’s so beautiful, listen to this song!’ It was so beautiful, that music was so pretty. So I told them about it. They have to see it.”

She’s not wrong. Hamilton is both sad and beautiful.
