Target’s Beauty Section Is Getting A Makeover To Look Like Sephora (But Way Cheaper)

When my best friend and I hang out, there are two things we like to do: Hit happy hour, and go to Target to browse the cosmetics section. According to Glamour, at least 75 Target stores in the United States will be getting a complete makeover by the end of October, and they’re being styled to resemble Sephora. By the end of 2018, at least 400 stores will be decked in the new look.

The new set-up will include better lighting, on-site skin care consultants and free samples– oh, and a NYX Brow Bar. The updated look will also come with updated products from some of our favorite brands like E.l.f. and Glow Studio. They’ll also carry under-the-radar and up-and-coming products for men, natural products, and more.

“The new design in beauty pulls you in. It’s a specialty environment that invites you to shop,” said Mark Tritton, Target’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer.

No word yet on what locations they’re starting with or when/if we can expect a Nationwide rollout, but if anyone needs me, I’ll be crossing my fingers and (not so) patiently waiting to hear more.
