They can’t call it “Carpool Karaoke”, because that name was already taken by a slightly more popular show. It’s not really even karaoke because Eric doesn’t sing. The only real similarity the Decker’s “Car Karaoke” has to “Carpool Karaoke” is that there are two people in a car listening to music. If you like “Carpool Karaoke” and think watching someone else run errands is really great, you might like it. Otherwise, you may want to pass.

The couple lip syncs along to “Almost Over You”, Jessie’s top track from her newly released “Southern Girl City Lights.” Eric takes Randy Houser’s lines while Jessie sings to some of her lines and mouths the rest, taking breaks to pinch, poke, and grope her husband. Neat.

When the electric guitar begins to play, the couple just starts miming every instrument they can think of. Maybe Eric thinks that’s how a piano sounds? I don’t know, but Jessie really should know better.

It goes downhill from there.

But hey, if you like this, have at it.
