The track is super personal to Rhett who shared in a press release, “My wife has been on me for years to write something for her like Tim McGraw’s ‘Just to See You Smile.’ Obviously this isn’t exactly like that, but it’s my interpretation. It’s one-hundred percent autobiographical of our relationship in a three-and-a-half minute ballad. It’s probably my favorite song I’ve ever written and it will be amazing to show our grandkids the video one day.”
Co-written with Sean Douglas and Joe Spargur, the video was shot on a Hawaiian getaway with his wife Lauren over the summer.
