Was This Kiss Between Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Really That Awkward?

It was a big night for women during the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards, including one of our favorite Hollywood leading ladies, Nicole Kidman. Nicole took home the award for Best Actress in a Limited Series for playing Celeste on "Big Little Lies," which also won for Best Miniseries or TV Film.

One thing I can kind of glossed over, but the Internet hasn't forgotten is the kiss between Nicole and husband Keith Urban as she went to the stage to accept her award.

One Twitter user called it a "journey." But, I'm just not there.

Keith Urban To Present At Golden Globe Awards

While Keith Urban often accompanies his wife, Nicole Kidman, to major Hollywood award shows, this year the 50-year-old country singer will be taking the stage himself, as a presenter.

The sexy Aussie is part of the second-round of presenters announced for Sunday's (Jan. 7) Golden Globe Awards, which includes a long list of who's who in Hollywood, such as Mariah Carey, Common, Jennifer Aniston, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Reese Witherspoon and others.

Nicole will be in attendance as she is nominated for for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Television Movie for her role in HBO's "Big Little Lies." Perhaps Mr. Urban will be lucky enough to present the same category and award his wife with the top prize, should she win her category. And if you've seen "Big Little Lies," you might agree, she deserves the award.

In addition to Nicole's individual nomination, her HBO show also received a nod for Best Television Limited Series or Television. And on top of that another show in which she starred, Top of the Lake: China Girl, is also nominated in the same category.

Needless to say, the Kidman-Urban family will be well represented when the Golden Globes, hosted by Seth Meyers, airs on Sunday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman Being Interviewed by Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on New Year's Eve Was A Beautiful Disaster

Someone told me once that how you spend New Year's Eve is how you'll spend the rest of your year. If that's true, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are going to be a part of some terrible interviews in 2018 and Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen shouldn't be allowed to talk to celebrities when they aren't standing directly in front of them.

I'm a regular viewer of Andy's "Watch What Happens Live" on Bravo, so I've seen him ask a lot of invasive questions before. Usually a lot of alcohol is involved and the guests know what's coming. Nicole and Keith were not ready for many of the questions asked of them. Anderson tried to help out Andy and Keith and Nicole, but to no avail. This was 5 minutes of pure awfulness.

First, the satellite cut out and CNN had to go back to Keith and Nicole in Nashville. Then, Nicole said all she was looking forward to in 2018 was "all working together to make this world a better place...unity... helping each other," to which Andy just said, "and more 'Big Little Lies!'" So, way to take it from a moment of reflection to HBO.

When Anderson tried to reflect on the big year Nicole had, Andy just screamed, "what did you give each other for Christmas?!"

Keith said a few things and then shared, "and a few things we can't talk about... a lot of Le Perla." Before they could really finish the Christmas gifts, Anderson asked, "do y'all make New Year's resolutions?"
