Keith Urban's "Female" is Here and OMG, The World Needs This Song (And Yes, Nicole Kidman is Singing Background Vocals)

It may be 2017, but in recent months it does seem like women are still fighting the same battles we've been fighting forever. Keith Urban, husband and father, obviously recognizes this.

Urban's new single, "Female" addresses everything from rape culture, to stereotypes, plus some of the good things about being female.

Written by Ross Copperman, Shane McAnally and Nicolle Galyon, the first verse asks two questions-- is hitting like a girl a bad thing and when Beyonce sings, "who run the world? Girls!" do you believe it?

Nicole Kidman Said Her EMMY Win Was More Special Than Her Oscar Win Because She's in Love Now

Only Nicole Kidman could take something that's definitely hers and a reward for hard work and make it about her husband Keith Urban. Because that's how in love the two are.

During a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, Nicole was asked what was a sweeter victory her Oscar win for "The Hours" or her EMMY win for "Big Little Lies." Most common folk would say an Oscar, right? Well, Nicole isn't common folk.

12 More Country Music Stars All Decked Out for Halloween

Halloween may be over and we just may be coming out of our sugar comas, but we'd be remiss if we did not share some of country's biggest stars getting all gussied up for All Hallow's Eve.

On a night when costumes are the norm, these stars fit right in—from Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher dressing up as a deer and deer catcher to Thomas Rhett and his daughters dressing up as a beekeeper and his little bees, there is no end to the creativity seen on this season.

Fun fact about Halloween—trick-or-treating began in areas of the United Kingdom and Ireland. People went house-to-house "souling"—asking for small breads called "soul cakes" in exchange for prayer. Adults also went door-to-door asking for food and drinks in exchange for a song or dance.

Super Hot Alexander Skarsgård is Bald Now and The Internet Cannot Even

Just a few weeks ago, Alexander Skarsgård was all over the Internet because he walked away as the Outstanding Supporting Actor at the 69th Annual EMMY Awards and because maybe on his way to the stage, he shared quite an interesting kiss with co-star Nicole Kidman in front of Keith Urban. In the weeks since, Kidman has said, "I've got an amazing, supportive, gorgeous husband who I love more than anything in the world and I gave Alex a congratulatory kiss..." But, we've seen no comments from Skarsgård.

Now, that kiss is long forgotten as he recently showed up bald like your high school principal at a red carpet event.

Nicole Kidman's Birthday Post to Keith Urban Was Like, The Sexiest, Sweetest Thing Ever

Normally, when it comes to gushing about their spouse on social media, Keith Urban is tops. Rarely, if ever, does Nicole Kidman join the party-- she usually saves that for TV interviews.

However, for Keith's 50th birthday, Nicole pulled out all the stops sharing an adorable photo of the superstar couple, in their signature pose, with the sweetest caption, "Happy birthday to my husband, best friend, lover, baby daddy and the greatest man in the world. We are so lucky that you are ours. Love you from Nicole Mary, Sunday Rose & Faith Margaret xx"

One can only assume that Keith calls each of his girls by their full, given names? Which is super sweet and now we're even more in awe of these two.

Nicole Kidman Says She is Dancing Around the Living Room to Keith Urban's New Music

You know that Internet meme that says, "Name a bigger... I'll wait." That's how I feel when I say Nicole Kidman is Keith Urban's biggest, biggest fan. There's just not a bigger fan-- literally and figuratively. Because literally she is and figuratively she's definitely his most famous fan. It definitely works the other way around, too.

During the CMT Artists of the Year ceremony, Nicole was asked if she's heard any new music from Keith lately. It has been over a year since he dropped the massively successful and GRAMMY-nominated Ripcord after all.

And of course, she has, "I'm dancing around the living room to it already... I'm like 'put it out!'"

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman Were the World's Sweetest Couple on the Red Carpet Before CMT Artists of the Year Celebration

In a world where we could all use a little more love, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman seem to always have some to share with everyone. When these two walk onto a red carpet Otis Redding's "Try A Little Tenderness" automatically starts playing in my head. Because there's not a more loving or tender couple around.

Urban was being honored as one of the 2017 CMT Artists of the Year and of course, Kidman was right by his side supporting her "amazing, supportive, gorgeous husband who [she] loves more than anything in the world."

Just look at this photo.

Nicole Kidman Speaks Out Against Harvey Weinstein Accusations In Support of Women

Nicole Kidman, who is married to country music singer Keith Urban, is speaking out against Hollywood producer, Harvey Weinstein and the allegations of sexual misconduct.

"As I've stated before publicly, I support and applaud all women and these women who speak out against any abuse and misuse of power — be it domestic violence or sexual harassment in the workforce," KIdman said in a statement to People. "We need to eradicate this behavior."

Weinstein, one of Hollywood's most power producers, co-founder of Miramax and co-chairman of The Weinstein Co., has been relieved of his position and his wife, Georgina Chapman left him after accusations of sexual harassment and sexual assault from a long list of hollywood actresses and co-workers surfaced.

Kidman, who joins Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Winslet and a host of other actresses speaking out, has been on the forefront of shining a light on women involved in domestic abuse situations. The 50-year-old actress spoke out against abuse toward women when she took home the Emmy for her role of Celeste Wright in the HBO series "Big Little Lies."

"Sometimes when you're acting, you get a chance to bring a bigger message — we shine a light on domestic abuse," she said. "It is a complicated, insidious disease that exists far more than we allow ourselves to know. It is filled with shame, secrecy and by you acknowledging me with this award, it shines a light on it even more."

Kidman did not mention whether or not she encountered any inappropriate actions from Weinstein during her time working with him on several movies, including "Lion," "Nine" and "Cold Mountain," but more stories are surfacing each day including the most recent from actress Kate Beckinsale.
