Blake Shelton, born in Ada, Oklahoma, grew up singing country music; learning how to play guitar by the age of 12. Blake made the move from Ada to Nashville shortly after graduating high school. His debut in country music came in 2001 with the release of “Austin,” the lead single from his self-titled debut album.
