Lee Brice has a voice that can bring you to your knees, but coupled with the man’s charisma, no woman stands a chance. I remember the first time I heard his first single, “She Ain’t Right,” and while I thought it was good, I didn’t become a fan until I met Lee. He was fresh on the scene and he came to my office to perform a few songs acoustically for the publication I was writing for at the time. He started into one of his songs and when he got to the line, “but she’s just right for me,” he looked right at me and I was hooked.

Since then, Lee’s made a name for himself by releasing consistent hits about the woman he loves and those songs are full of valuable lessons he’s learned along the way.

4 Valuable Lessons on Love and Life from Lee Brice:

1. Bend A Little

He doesn’t dance, as Lee proclaims in his hit song, but he does for her. “I Don’t Dance” is about bending for the one you love. When you’re with the right person you do things you never thought you would, like waltz or get married.

Tonight was so special….. I wrote the song for Sara and tomorrow is our 2nd wedding anniversary

2. You Can Live Without Her … But Why Would You Want To?

No one likes a needy guy. Men need to have their own lives while still adoring the woman they’re with. In “A Woman Like You,” Lee demonstrates this perfectly. He goes through a long list of things he’d be doing if he’d never found the girl in the song, but notes he wouldn’t be happy and therefore would be looking for her.

3. Everyone Has Faults

She might have her Daddy’s tongue and temper and be in serious need of a filter, but that’s why you love her. In his debut single “She Ain’t Right” Lee sings of a woman who’s a little wild but still the apple of his eye. She ain’t right, but she’s just right for him.

4. Love Like Crazy

In his first No. 1 song, Lee Brice presents the perfect formula for a lifetime of happiness. Be a best friend, tell the truth, overuse I love. It’s that simple. Relationships are difficult and require two people to constantly and continually make the choice to be together.
