As country music’s current and legendary superstars gathered at the Ryman Auditorium for the 9th Annual ACM Honors, Luke Bryan enjoyed a special performance in his honor. The performance was made even more special because his good friend and current tour mate, Randy Houser, was the one honoring Bryan.
Bryan received the Gene Weed Special Achievement Award, which acknowledges unprecedented, unique and outstanding individual achievement in country music. Houser played one of six No. 1 from Bryan’s Crash My Party Album, “Roller Coaster.”
In the beginning, it feels like Houser is trying to really sing the song like Bryan does, but by the time the second verse rolls around, Houser’s big booming voice takes center stage.
The two friends will continue the Kick The Dust Up Tour through the fall.
